CAMP PROGRAM
Life at Akiba is packed with action and entertainment each and every day. From the moment our campers arrive, they embark on their 6-week journey filled with adventure and self-discovery. From athletics and arts to high-ropes courses and aquatics, every day is bursting with new experiences that will develop lasting skills. But that’s just the beginning – at Camp Akiba, there are special events and surprises around every corner. Whether it is our Blue & Gold Games or beautiful Sunset Luaus, there’s always something exciting on the horizon. We invite you to join us and witness Akiba firsthand!
CABINS
The cabins at camp are spacious and welcoming. Each cabin is equipped with conveniently located bathrooms, sinks, and showers. With no bunk beds in sight, campers enjoy their own personal space complete with cubbies, power outlets, and windows. Our dedicated housekeeping staff ensures that bathrooms are cleaned daily. To enhance comfort, we encourage campers to bring along their own desired bedding, pillows, and plushies.
MEALS & NUTRITION
At Camp Akiba, our healthy, well-balanced meals are served in air conditioned dining rooms. We strive to keep our campers healthy and energized for their daily activities. Our kitchen is a nut-free facility, and we can accommodate any food allergies and/or dietary preferences. Serving various freshly prepared meals from our in-house Chef, ranging from BBQ cookouts, daily salad bars, taco bowl nights, Friday night challah and matzo ball soup, and of course our special banquet dinner to celebrate the end of our season.
OFF-SITE TRIPS
During the summer, we’ll take trips to a select variety of local places. These local trips will be included as part of your camper’s tuition and will range from movies and bowling, to Camelbeach.
TRADITIONAL EVENTS
From our renowned 4th of July fireworks to our spirited scavenger hunt, each celebration is a reflection of our vibrant history. Experience the ultimate camp tradition with College Days, a thrilling event filled with unique themes and games that will encourage cooperation and teamwork while bringing out the best in our campers.
SPECIALIZED TRAINING
Private 1-on-1 sessions are available upon request and can include horseback riding, sports such as tennis or golf, and even tutoring.
